Trying a new recipe tomorrow…that is how this all started…Cooking School! Making my grocery list and looking for spices to prevent shopping for “stuff” we don’t need. So we have spices in a spice drawer, spices in our pantry in a box, spices sitting on a shelf in a kitchen cabinet, and unfortunately a spice jar “glued” to a cabinet shelf with molasses…We have 5 kinds of paprika, cinnamon sticks, ground cinnamon, and cinnamon with sugar, 5 half cans of Pam for baking, grilling, multiple jars of sprinkles…and the list goes on.
So as I decide what is going where, keep in mind I show beautiful kitchens with organizers of every kind, pull out shelves, revolving spice doors and drawers and whatever a homeowner designs. Do I need to make a run to the Container Store? Is this one of the updates we need to make to keep our home marketable? Solution = throwing things away before the chef comes home.
Wine is being chilled, found all the ingredients needed, I am ready for Cooking School tomorrow and time with good friends! I will share good recipes…stay tuned for what I learn.
