Location: Franklin Park Conservatory: Columbus, OH

Creepy and curious carnivorous plants are taking over Franklin Park Conservatory. This is your chance to visit an old cemetery and an abandoned greenhouse on display, all to explore through November 15th.

 

  1. Opera on the Edge at Shadowbox

Date: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through November 15th

Location: Shadowbox Live’s Backstage Bistro: Brewery District, Columbus, OH

Opera Columbus presents opera in a whole new, casual realm. Listen a modern, abridged version of La Traviata, sung in English at the popular Shadowbox bistro.

This weekend alone, COSI will feature amazing model railroads for visitors to explore. These models are so lifelike; you don’t want to miss this exciting opportunity.

 

  1. Gifts of the Craftsmen

Date: November 8th-December 23rd

Location: Ohio Craft Museum: Grandview, OH

Cost: Free

This annual holiday show is one of best places to purchase unique and handcrafted gifts for the holidays. This year’s show features over 90 artists from across the U.S., featuring everything from jewelry to hand-carved utensils to stunning ceramic pottery.

 

  1. Super Weekend!

Date: November 27-28

Location: Ohio History Center

Cost: Included with general admission or free if you wear your favorite superhero costume

The Ohio History Connection currently has George Reeve’s original superman suit on display in conjunction with their 1950’s: Building the American Dream exhibit. This weekend encourages families to dress as their favorite superheroes as well as explore this exciting exhibit with hands-on activities.
