Thanksgiving Is Where the HEART Is…Maybe Not Where Grandma’s Dining Room Table Is?

It may be time for new traditions and/or modifications to memories.  I am guessing over 90% of families I help downsize, mention past holiday celebrations.  What will my children, grandchildren think?  What if I don’t use my grandmother’s china, we have always done this…and the list of questions and comments goes on.

As time goes by, I hear stories about adding several tables which is easy in most open floor plans, buffet style instead of family style, creating new traditions and games…and problem is solved.  Yes, I do hear from past clients…referrals is the back bone of my real estate business.  Keeping in contact with my clients is more fun than sending out mailings that usually end up in the trash.  In fact I just got a text message today with photo of newborn of a young couple I have worked for…I was excited and honored to be included in the list of people notified of this wonderful addition to their family.

I am very thankful for words like these from a family in Westerville:

It is with great pleasure that we write this recommendation on behalf of ReMax agent Emma Yanok. When we decided it was time to list our home of 25 years we contacted Emma who we had met years before. What a great decision it was!! In Emma we quickly discovered that we hadn’t hired just an agent, we had hired a knowledgeable “partner” who worked with us through every step of the process.

Emma’s experience, contacts, and knowledge allowed us to move forward quickly and in an effective manner. Emma’s understanding of the market and the real estate climate provided the direction and advice we needed to quickly sell our home. Emma was with us daily offering the encouragement, the wisdom, and her expertise to make such a difficult challenge a huge success. Always upbeat and professional, she was incredibly helpful in both the “staging” of our home and having an amazing photographer provide the pictures that made our listing stand out.

Our experience with Emma was such a positive experience that, at the end of this process, we realized we had not one but two significant accomplishments. First and foremost, we sold our home quickly and second, developed a trusted friendship with Emma Yanok. She was truly outstanding!

Someone said to me once…Change is the KEY to the FUTURE!

Enjoy this wonderful weather in OHIO.  November in the 60’s…loving it.
